Novozymes

Sep. - Dec. 2018

The objective of this project was to identify market drivers for a recent trend in sales for one of Novozymes' platform technologies, enzymatic interesterification. The team conducted secondary and primary market research to identify possible market drivers. We interviewed experienced professionals in the edible oils and fats industry.

My main contribution to this project was synthesizing the research from our six members into concise insights in creative deliverables. As team lead, I coordinated our efforts and facilitated meetings. This project was a significant learning experience for me as a leader.

Wiser Systems

Jan. - May 2018

The objective of this project was to determine the commercial viability of Wiser Systems technology in the biomanufacturing industry. The project had 4 parts: biomanufacturing research and education, market analysis, voice of customer campaign, and multiple deliverables.

​

One of my main contributions to this project was the organization and facilitation of a focus group to evaluate the technology's use in the biomanufacturing industry. The feedback from former industry professionals who now teach at the Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center was quite valuable.

Sep. - Dec. 2017

Our team worked with BD’s strategic marketing and R&D teams to help define the near- to mid-term strategies for one of their areas of focus. Activities included generating profiles of leading technologies and companies in the field, assessing the competitive landscape, identifying unmet customer needs, and market segmentation. We carried out these objectives by utilizing a combination of primary and secondary research.
